Cadet Training Survival Simulator, 5.3 out of 10 based on 4 ratings

If any custom Unreal SP map is useless, this one must be pretty close to it. On the other hand it is unique in its own simple way. As the name suggest, this map is supposed to be a cadet training survival training simulator. There are no enemies, and the point is to enter and run your way through the training area before your health decreases to zero. Except for the first room before the simulation, you receive constant damage everywhere. Your way will be blocked by rather simple puzzles that you have to solve on time in order to survive. From the read me file:

The Story: As a youth, you heard the stories of the brutal Cadet training programs, but still you yearned to join. Underage and excitied, you falsified your age to join the Cadet ranks. Now, after watching your comrades drop off one by one, it’s your turn… Will you survive the Simulation and earn your training certificate?

Gameplay: This is a non-combat map, where weapons are used to open doors. Your enemy is time, as in most parts of the map your health will steadily diminish. I strongly reccommend that you reduce the sound ( or turn the music up) as you play. I found the constant grunting of the player to be really, really annoying. Try it for yourself and see.
