The Ballad of Ash

A very, very basic short campaign back from 1999, The Ballad of Ash features a very, very basic story with a twist. And that is probably the only good-sounding thing we can say about it, unfortunately. Indeed, there were plenty of maps by other authors by that time that dropped our jaws so this one did not stand a chance even back then. But that is OK. From what one can tell after playing it, the author, Lestat was simply having fun with the engine like so many other mappers.

The readme in the version that we have says version 2.19 and it is not clear whether the release date refers to that or the original so for the time being we use that date in the description.
