Probably the most successful project of Simon West-Bulford ‘EZkeel’, deCyber Duel is a unique conceptual SP map that may not seem like much in terms of build quality, however it is really played for the gameplay awe rather than anything else. It is an arena-style map that, although takes place in the same world, does not bear much relation to the original Unreal, nor does it have a typical SP map feel.

The story is simple - just when you are about to be executed by some Skaarj Assasins, you get rescued (and captured) by an unknown entity and placed into this weird establishment consisting of a main hall, an armoury, a healing chapel and three arenas. Your only chance of getting out alive is to complete all three arenas, which practically means fighting all enemies seen in Unreal. After each fight you will be rewarded trophies, however if you use too many resources from the armoury, these trophies can be taken away and you have to start over.

This is a very fun and challenging map that will force you to make some choices and think about strategy to complete.

The map was originally released for Unreal, but there is also an UT version available which the author released a year later, on 8th February 2000.
