The Fifth Vortex

It is approximately 25 years since the events of Return to Na Pali. The Skaarj are much fewer in number, with only a few pockets here and there. The cause of their demise, while certainly contributed to by Prisoner 849, is still mostly unknown. Recently however, there has been sudden spike in their population.

The Fifth Vortex, this 7-map single player release featuring 5 playable maps and 2 cutscenes, was a well received map pack in late 2013 with some nice visuals in classic Unreal style settings and an emphasis on exploration. The story revolves around the powerful Nali god Enchantora and a likewise powerful Skaarj warlord referred to as Enchantora's Shame. The Fifth Vortex is without doubt one of the best single player campaigns in recent years with maps of epic size and many beautiful little elements that will make you stop for a moment and just graze your eyes on them. Well worth the download.
